CPS Energy Summer Fellowship Program

The 2021 CPS Energy Summer Fellowship Program was designed through a collaboration with Smart Energy Education, Students of Service San Antonio (SOS), and CPS Energy. Students from the SOS network along with CPS Energy Interns participated in a month-long fellowship offering online and in-person events. Topics covered meeting local utility executives, developing LinkedIn profiles, and participating in a water purification experiment. 

In addition, all participants were encouraged to attend the community service events offered to build a Sustainable Garden at CAST Tech High School. Fellowship members planted edible plants, built a rainwater capture system, installed solar lights and created a green space for students to enjoy in an urban environment.
